FOUNDER
Tawnya McCoy is the creator and Founder of Prosper Dance Family. Tawnya has a very outgoing and contagious positive personality and teaching style, she has a special gift to truly see the beauty and potential of each dancer. She is also the founder and creator of Live Your Truth Everyday Dance Academy (Tawnya or Prosper Dance Academy a very successful LA based studio and hip hop competition team) and And has over 30 years on entertainment industry success as well as dance studio/dance competition success. She has countless national and regional first place awards and crystals and prides herself on molding champions.
Her unique gift of training successful LA dancers has gotten her a spotlight in Informa Magazine and LA rising artist of the year. Her dancers and work has graced the stage of the biggest shows in the industry including world of Dance, Hip Hop international, Urban Street Jam, Las Vegas National winner and So You THink You can Dance and more

What is the main goal and what will my child recieve from this program?
What is the commitment?
​The dance season is 10 months long and we are seeking dancers that are willing, eager and able to commit for the season. The season runs from September to Mid July (Nationals) will be the last show of the season. There will be 1 2 hour rehearsal each week in preparation for competition season. The week prior to every competition willbe "SPIRIT WEEK" All groups, soloist etc will meet for the same 3/4 hour slot for full dress rehearsal and perform for friends and family. This is the funnest time for our dancers and families.
What is the monthly fee and show schedule?
$149 a month
This does not include costume or team warm ups/Shoes
Does my child have to be a certain age or level?
We except all ages at all levels. Seeking anyone wanting g to grow in confidence, self love, learn hardwork and dedication and be pushed to grow while being in positive, supportive and encouraging enviroment
